Thermal Gas Mass Flowmeter
This product is developed based on the thermal diffusion constant temperature difference principle and is specifically designed for mass flow measurement of various steady-state gases. The instrument constructs a measurement circuit through a pair of reference-grade platinum resistance temperature sensors, with one sensor monitoring the medium temperature in real-time and the other maintaining a constant temperature difference above the medium temperature. It calculates precise mass flow by utilizing heat conduction changes when gas flows. Its core advantage lies in eliminating the need for additional temperature and pressure compensation devices, enabling direct output of gas mass flow or standard volumetric flow. The sensor features no moving parts and accommodates a wide measurement range from low to high flow velocities. It is widely applied in gas metering scenarios across multiple fields including industrial process control, environmental monitoring, and energy measurement.
Key Features of The Thermal Gas Mass Flowmeter
📊 Direct Mass Flow Measurement
Directly measures gas mass flow without being affected by medium temperature or pressure fluctuations, eliminating the need for additional temperature and pressure compensation equipment and associated installation and commissioning procedures. This significantly reduces measurement errors, and standard volumetric flow data can be read directly.
🎯 Wide Measurement Range
Flow velocity measurement range covers 0.5 – 100Nm/s, with customized versions available down to 0.1Nm/s. Capable of precisely capturing low-velocity gases from minor leaks while stably measuring high-speed airflows. Measurement accuracy reaches ±1% with excellent repeatability, adapting to complex conditions with significant flow fluctuations.
🛡️ Robust Construction Design
Sensor constructed from corrosion-resistant materials such as 316L stainless steel, featuring no moving parts or pressure sensing components. Excellent vibration resistance prevents mechanical wear caused by medium impurities, extending service life significantly.
🔧 Flexible Installation Options
Supports insertion-type installation with ball valve base, enabling installation and maintenance without production shutdown, reducing the risk of industrial production interruptions and minimizing operational costs.
⚡ Advanced Digital Electronics
Integrated digital circuit design with strong electromagnetic interference resistance. Optional intrinsically safe and explosion-proof configurations suitable for flammable and explosive hazardous locations. Protection rating reaches IP67, withstanding harsh outdoor environments including moisture and dust.
🔌 Versatile Communication Protocols
Standard 4-20mA current signal output with optional RS-485 (Modbus-RTU protocol) and HART protocol. Seamlessly integrates with industrial control systems including PLC, DCS, SCADA, and other automation platforms.
